Spending a week writing in a quiet house on the edge of a gorge. Here’s the view when I look up from my computer:

My friend and business partner Liz are in Sante Fe for a bead show.What a treat to be “home” again! New Mexico is one of the places in the world that has always felt like home to me, from the first time I visited. More than anything other than my “real” home and my family there, more than the beauties of the ocean, or the Rocky Mountains a mere 3 hours drive away, this place calls to me. I feel so lucky to have discovered this wonderful part of the world.
We’re staying at the El Rey Inn – a funky and comfortable old Route 66 adobe motel.
